Membership Information
As a diverse group of young women, we support our sisters in their efforts to achieve all of their goals. This is only accomplished with a realization of one's own self worth. Rather than living with the ideal of what a woman is supposed to be or what a woman is supposed to represent, we encourage our sisters to add their visions and voice to society. Each woman has special and unique qualities of her own. Therefore, SIS believes in recognizing each sister's individual talents and utilizing them for the benefit of the individual as well as the organization, which include promoting women's leadership and fighting rape, domestic violence, and sexual assault and harassment.
Undergraduate Membership Requirements
1. General requirements:
- Must be enrolled at a four-year college or university
- Cumulative G.P.A. of 2.5 or above
- Must be at least a second semester freshman
2. Submit a Candidate Profile to our Vice Chair of Intake. Please include the following information:
- First and Last Name
- Mailing Address
- Phone Number
- Email Address
- College or University currently attending
- Class year
- Anticipated date of graduation
- Cumulative GPA
3. Attend an interest meeting at your college/university
4.Complete the application process for the Candidate Intake Process
Graduate Membership Requirements
1. General requirements:
- Must be enrolled in a graduate program (Certificate, Masters or Doctorate)
- Cumulative Undergraduate GPA of 2.5 or above
- Cumulative Graduate GPA of 3.0 or above
2. Submit a Candidate Profile to our Vice Chair of Intake. Please include the following information:
- First and Last Name
- Mailing Address
- Phone Number
- Email Address
- College or University currently attending
- Degree currently pursuing
- Class year
- Anticipated date of graduation
- Cumulative GPA
3. Attend an interest meeting at your college/university
